63 seconds of film, five AI systems, one production. This piece documents how the teaser for our own website was made: which models ran, how many iterations each scene needed, where the work stalled.
The production
We call this workflow AI Orchestration: several specialised models in a chain, each for the part it does best.

The workflow
1. Concept and direction
Every scene starts as a direction decision: what the viewer should see and feel, where the cut sits. The prompt follows from that brief, not the other way round.
2. The chain: five systems
Five systems ran in this production: Seedance 2.5, GLM by Z.ai, GPT Astra, DeepSeek and a local FlashNext model. Each scene took 1-4 iterations. The models do not deliver on the first try. Clear direction narrows the search space and with it the number of iterations.
3. Prompting imperfection
Seedance ships a prompt manual. We integrated it, our prompts follow its structure. What we learned: models produce the flawless version by default, and precisely that looks artificial. An image becomes realistic through small irregularities in material, motion and light. They belong in the prompt, otherwise they do not happen.
4. Continuity across 49 scenes
For continuity we built our own tool. It keeps location, characters and wardrobe consistent across 49 scenes while generation stays photorealistic. That is the real bottleneck: in scene 12 the character wears a different shirt than in scene 13, the location changes angle. Across 49 scenes this shows immediately.
5. Encode and integration
From the 63-second master a 27.4 MB web encode is derived (H.264, CRF 26). Small enough for mobile load times, large enough for 1080p. Embedded in four language versions of the website, with poster image and lazy loading.
Transferable to other processes
This workflow is not limited to film. For companies the same sequence applies: we look at the processes, select the systems that map them, and build the software that does not yet exist for it. The continuity tool in this production is one example. QLTY media is an agency for film, social media and AI content from Cologne, clients come from mid-sized companies and industry.
